Staffing and Managed Services Are ‘Very Different’ Businesses. Why Are They Coming Together? | Legaltech News

Legal staffing companies are beginning to diversify into technology and managed services, while managed services companies are seeing a similar expansion in staffing. But while both have their reasons for looking the other way, competition in one does not necessarily guarantee success in the other.

There are at least a few companies on both sides of the dividing line that are willing to give it a try. Last week, staffing and outsourcing resource provider Forrest Solutions announced that it was launching a dedicated division called Forest Solutions Legal. In addition to staffing needs, the legal division will also offer managed services related to eDiscovery, compliance and information governance.
