-sl Beer batter recipe from Wegner's Restaurant in Milwaukee...can use almost any type of "flake"  fish,  i.e., no shark, tuna etc.

  2 C. Flour
  1 tsp. Lawry's
  1 tsp. Paprika
  1 12oz. Lite Beer
  1/2 c. water

Combine dry ingredients - add beer and water and mix until smooth - Dip fish in batter, shake off excess, fry in 350 degree oil 3-5 minutes
until done. Serve as entree or sandwich. Enjoy.

i add one or two egg whites to the mixture it helps the consistency for nice thick batter..the yolk's will give an egg taste tho so i reccomend only the whites
