I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.

I met up with Alleydog, Cunnigham, Aunt Rusty and Cunnigham's "Ol'lady" (thats what he calls her...not me) for a 24 hour fishing session at Hubbard's. The night started off with Alleydog catching 2 carp then about 10:30p.m. he hooks into a 43.6# flathead. Awesome fish Amos and congrats on that brute u00. The night continued with Amos catching another flathead that went about 20# and Cunnigham and myself catching a carp each.

In the morning Alleydog had to leave us but there was still plenty of fish to be caught. Around 9:00 a.m. the carp bite started to really pickup. Everyone caught a few carp and it got to the point where it was hard for me to keep two polls in the water. Here are pictures of few of the fish we all caught.

Alleydog's 43.6

Another nice flathead

A few of Cunnigham's catches

Aunt Rusty's

A few of mine

And my new pb shad on a rod and reel  llk. I had no idea you could even catch them this way but he fell victim to pack bait.

Had a great time fishing with some great folks. Thanks everyone.
