I'm sure you could do that a lot of places around here.

And it would be an absolute blast cathing them that way.

Fishing for Carp with a fly rod

Something I used to enjoy alot when I lived in Mo and in Co was fishing for carp with my fly rod and a can of corn. I think I will give it a shot here in Indiana this season. Pull out my old rod, dust it off and head to the river with a can of corn. Here is a short video that caused me to remember this pleasure from a fly shop I have used for several years.

Carp on the Fly Shenandoah River

Also there was a small river that was near where I grew up that had a old damn that honestly was falling apart. But I used to fish around the broken blocks setting in the deep water with my fly rod and night crawlers and catch alot of small flat head ( biggest I think I landed was about 10 pds ) and some pretty nice large mouth and white bass. Talk about fun those cats shaken their heads like they do on the end of a light outfit. Think I will give it a shot on the river around here this season.
