I bought a trailer this year and camped there a couple times. First outing was july 4th weekend seen a 72lb flat caught and released. never got a bite . second time got to know a few of the permanents there and caught fish biggest near ten lbs. love to camp there and there is potential i put some time and money there and we are thinking of putting our camper there next year.3rd time took son and we drove from laporte just to fish lost a really nice cat several other runs with a float and gill my guess smaller fish. Its like any other pay lake hit or miss. All in all family enjoys the camping and fishing.

I've been there once and you can catch quite a few decent size catfish there. I've never was able to catch a bass though (not sure about that one). I wouldn't recommend eating something spicy before going there because when I was there all they had was one outhouse that was so bad there was blue on the toilet seat and you could smell the outhouse through the whole place. Just warning anyone in advance. Hopefully they have bathrooms now.

At one time they would not let you keep anything over 20 lbs. i wouldn't keep anything that big anyways, the owner would actually pay you 1 dollar per pound with anything that you caught that was over the 20 lb. weight. not sure if they still do that or not.

how did eye miss that  llk llk Thanks nakedemperor that's not real far from my house in Attaica might just have to check it out next time eye'm down there  mkm

1 Catfish = 1 Point

1 Trout = 3 Points

1 Bass > 14" = 3 ½ Points

So it must go by # of fish and not size cool  77j and so you could keep 7 catfish no matter the size. Eye would try to catch some of them Big Bass to but only to take a picture and weigh them then let them go back  o1

if you go down the "rates" page (near the bottom) and click on point structure...this explains the system.

Tried this place out Saturday afternoon, for a few hours.  I really enjoyed it, nice clean well kept place.  Missed several runs, wasn't payin attention.  This place has some potential, I recommend it.  It there little bait shop, they have pics of several blue cats 50 plus pounds, also have pics of BIG carp, and some giant LM bass. mkm  Only downfall, they only sell basic bait.  Worms, shrimp, liver, and minnows.  I will definitely go again soon, but I will take some shad, and bluegills. mkm
Sounds like a nice place to fish and with Giant LMB you can fish for while waiting for the cats to bite  mkm Do they have a website.

I haven't been there for about 5 years, used to be a guy here on the site that took me out there and showed me how and where to fish that place, he had caught several big cats out of there probably a few of his pics. are on that board, little clue use sucker minnows, fish the pond by the little shop there and cast out towards the old diving board and hang on  1b2
