For all you fall mushroom hunters out there, It's on! I had a friend give me a cauliflower shroom early this week that was a bit too old and my son Steve found a small one Wednessday. Steve and his wife went out last nite with me and found out the button mushrooms are out in force! Looks to be a very good year for them with the rain we had a few days ago. We didn't get out there untill just before dark, but managed to cut about 15 pounds of them. Sauteed a pan full of them up in a little garlic n butter last night. Awsome eats!! Sorry, no picks, though. Get out there, the buttons don't last long!
