Freshman year at SIU, transferred and was forced to sit his Soph year at Valpo, which is why he has an extra year of eligibility to play basketball.

Are you saying that because he has his degree he wont have to sit out a year if he transfers?

That is how I understand it. Not just because he has a degree, but because he would be changing schools between degree programs after completing undergrad. He gets an exemption from the rule that typically makes a transfer sit a year, which is the whole reason he can consider this after having already been a transfer student once.

He's in a unique situation because he can transfer to a school with a graduate program without taking a one year penalty. I just read your post Hank.  There were a couple of things that jumped out at me with reading that link.  The author alluded to Mike Miller.......geez he is a big man.  Where did Kyle Korver go to college?  It wasnt one of the power conference schools.  Scottie Pippen went where?  lol.............as far as Purdue and Michigan State pursuing him.........I thought MSU was loaded...........Purdue, I cant speak for.........it tells me they are looking for a quick fix.  And who said a kid from Valpo (they werent even in the Horizon League then) cant play in the NBA...........how soon we forget about Bryce Drew!!!!!!!!!

Valpo's best player may be looking to move on to Purdue.  All you Boilermaker fans will like this guy as he can fill it up from anywhere on the court.  I'm still hoping he decides to return to Valpo, but things are starting to look bleak.
