Dealers of any kind of sporting equipment do not make that much money on major items (i.e. boats, four wheelers, PWC, etc.).  They make most of their money on secondary items (hats, shirts, add ons, etc.).

On the shipping
Do you think with the cost of fuel they are going to send a truck to deliver your little A-14 by it's self or are they going to group deliveries together to be cost effective?

On the fuel stabilizer
My present boat I've had for 6 years with zero problems.. I only put stabil in when I winterize, no need for it in the summer. I USE the boat and the fuel doesn't stay in there long enough to warrant it. You have a new boat with a 3 gallon tank, how long do you expect that to last???


Complaining about not getting a free hat???? I did get a free hat but spent $18k for my toon.

Yes they should have given you some type of tie-down straps for the trailer. Other than that it seems like very petty items to make negative remarks about this dealer.

I would have thought they would have had a transom strap on it for you also instead of you having to put your old one on it. You should have been able to just hook on and go with it.

After dealing with Lake Drive Marine in Coldwater Lake ,Michigan,...I am not sure whether or not I would recommend them at this time,...nor would I recommend,...believe it or not,...ordering a boat from Lund Boat Co. eventhough you guys know good and well I am a die-hard Lund guy all the way. I would make sure the Lund boat I want is in stock
rather than order it. It found it hard to believe it took Lund six weeks to get a simple little 14 Ft. row boat shipped out
after being built and done nearly two weeks,...though that may not necessarily be the dealer's fault. My gripe with
 Lake Drive Marine is in the fact that they did not put fuel stabilizer in the gas for which I feel they should have. I had to put that in myself. You would think that as a courtesy to the customer,they would do that in order to set an example that you need to use the stabilizer to fight off the effects of ethanol in our gas these days. Why heck,...they
didn't even offer a free Lund hat just for buying a boat from them. lllo lllo. In the words of Bill Dance,.."Aint that a fine
